In this sermon, Evangelist Martha P. Davis calls believers back to wholehearted obedience to God's Word. Preaching from Isaiah 28, Psalm 19, Psalm 119, and Ecclesiastes 12, she explains that God's precepts, statutes, and commandments are not burdens but life-giving instructions designed to lead His people into righteousness and truth.
She emphasizes that God's mercy never cancels His holiness or His righteous standards. While God is loving and long-suffering, He is also the Judge who will hold every person accountable. True Christianity requires more than believing in God—it requires being born again, walking in obedience, rejecting compromise, and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform the heart.
Throughout the message, she urges listeners to study Scripture daily, treasure God's Word above earthly riches, repent of hidden and presumptuous sins, and live in the fear of the Lord. She reminds believers that God's Word is perfect, converting the soul, making the simple wise, and preparing His people for the eternal reward awaiting those who faithfully endure.
This sermon is a passionate call to return to the authority of God's Word, embrace His holy standards, and live according to His precepts until Christ returns.

In this sermon, Evangelist Martha P. Davis emphasizes prayer as one of God’s greatest gifts to believers—a direct line of communication with the Almighty through the name of Jesus Christ. Drawing primarily from James 5, she teaches that prayer is both a privilege and a command, reminding listeners that God desires His children to come boldly before His throne with confidence that He hears and answers.
Evangelist Davis explains that effectual, fervent prayer carries power and produces results. She highlights that prayer is not merely asking for personal needs, but also interceding for others, seeking justice, healing, forgiveness, and spiritual strength. She points to examples such as Daniel’s unwavering prayer life and the biblical promise that “the prayer of faith shall save the sick” to show that persistent, faithful prayer moves the hand of God.
The sermon also stresses that prayer develops patience, submission, and spiritual sensitivity. Through prayer, believers are refined, drawn closer to God, and taught to hear His voice. Evangelist Davis encourages Christians to pray continually—in private, corporately, and in every circumstance—trusting God’s promises that even before they call, He will answer.
Ultimately, her message is a strong call for believers to embrace prayer as essential to their walk with God

Evangelist Martha P. Davis’ sermon “Hope in God” is a powerful message encouraging believers to place their complete trust and confidence in God, especially during troubled and uncertain times. Drawing from Joel 3:16, she reminds listeners that while the earth may shake and nations may face turmoil, “the Lord will be the hope of His people and the strength of the children of Israel.”
Martha Davis explains that biblical hope is more than wishful thinking—it is a confident expectation, trust, and reliance upon God and His promises. She emphasizes that God is faithful from birth to old age, carrying and sustaining His people through every trial. Contrasting the living God with lifeless idols made by human hands, she declares that only the Lord can save, deliver, and fulfill His promises.
Using examples from Scripture, including Job and the nation of Israel, she teaches that hope keeps believers steadfast when faith is tested, circumstances seem overwhelming, or answers are delayed. She encourages Christians to continue trusting God, praying for His people, loving others, and standing on the Word of God regardless of what they see or feel.
The central message of the sermon is that hope in God never leads to disappointment. Through faith, hope, and love, believers can endure life's trials, remain confident in God's care, and look forward to the fulfillment of His promises, knowing that “hope maketh not ashamed.”

In this sermon, Evangelist Martha P. Davis encourages believers to seek and trust in the wisdom of God during the increasingly difficult and morally declining times of the last days. Drawing from James chapter 1, she emphasizes that God's people need divine wisdom to discern truth, resist temptation, and remain steadfast in their faith.
She reminds listeners that God freely gives wisdom to those who ask in faith without doubting.
Evangelist Davis teaches that faith and trust in God are essential for overcoming trials and temptations. Using biblical examples such as Moses crossing the Red Sea and the three Hebrew men in the fiery furnace, she illustrates how God faithfully delivers and sustains those who trust Him. She stresses that believers must not become double-minded or unstable but should stand firmly on God's promises even when circumstances seem difficult.
The sermon also warns against yielding to temptation and making excuses for sin. Evangelist Davis explains that temptation comes from the enemy and from human desires, not from God. Through the wisdom of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, believers can overcome temptation, endure trials, and receive the "crown of life" promised to those who love and obey God. Her central message is that Christians must trust God completely, seek His wisdom daily, and remain faithful until Christ's return.

In this encouraging sermon, Evangelist Martha P. Davis teaches from Matthew 28:18-20, focusing on Jesus' promise: "Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." She reminds believers that although Christ is not physically visible, He is present through the Holy Spirit, who reveals Him to those who walk by faith.
Davis emphasizes that Christians are called to trust God's Word despite trials, persecution, suffering, and spiritual opposition. Drawing from the experiences of the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 11, she highlights the many hardships endured by faithful servants of God and explains that suffering for Christ is often part of the Christian journey.
The sermon also points to Jesus' own suffering and sacrifice, showing that He endured rejection, humiliation, and the cross so that humanity could receive salvation. Because Christ remained faithful through His suffering, believers can likewise find strength to persevere through their own difficulties.
A central theme of the message is that Satan seeks to create doubt, fear, and discouragement, but God's people must hold firmly to their faith and trust in the power of Jesus' name. Evangelist Davis encourages listeners to remember that God has not abandoned them, even when circumstances seem dark or overwhelming.
The sermon concludes with a powerful call to remain steadfast, trust in the Lord's promises, and take comfort in knowing that Jesus is always present with His people. Through every trial, believers can confidently stand on God's Word, knowing that He will strengthen, sustain, and ultimately deliver those who remain faithful to Him.

She encourages listeners to endure hardships with courage and joy, following the example of Jesus Christ, who faithfully endured suffering and conquered evil. In this sermon, Martha P. Davis teaches from Romans chapters 6 and 8 about the believer’s victory over sin through Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. She explains that although humanity fell into sin through disobedience in the Garden of Eden, God, in His great mercy and grace, sent Jesus Christ to redeem mankind and break the bondage of sin and death.
The message emphasizes that salvation is more than simply confessing faith verbally—it is a transformed life marked by dying to sin and walking in “newness of life.” Through Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, believers are spiritually crucified to their old sinful nature and raised into a life of righteousness and holiness. Evangelist Davis stresses that grace is not a license to continue sinning, but the power of God working within believers to live victoriously.
She calls Christians to yield every part of their lives—mind, heart, body, and actions—to God rather than to the desires of the flesh. By following the Holy Spirit and walking in obedience, believers can overcome temptation, resist the devil, and live as servants of righteousness. The sermon concludes with the reminder that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God through Jesus Christ is eternal life, holiness, peace, and victory.

Evangelist Martha P. Davis
God's Holy Mountain Broadcast was started by Evangelist Martha P. Davis, who was born in the state of North Carolina, in the U.S. She was born again by the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ in May of 1959. After her conversion, Evangelist Davis became a member of Miracle Temple, of Newark, New Jersey, and worshiped there for 13 years.
In 1974, Evangelist Davis became a student of the "World Evangelism School of Ministry" under the leadership of Morris Cerullo. In the same year, The Lord lead her to form The Montclair Prayer Band, an intercessory prayer ministry, and from there the Lord began to launch her forth into evangelistic work. The Montclair Prayer Band traveled into many towns and cities throughout the states of New Jersey and New York conducting street and church services, wining the lost to Jesus Christ, and preaching The Word of God. Evangelist Martha P. Davis wrote the tract "The Art of Suffering". This tract was sent by the publishing firm to the nations of India and to Africa, which launched her into the international world of evangelism. She began to hear from different ministries in Africa and India requesting that more of "The Art of Suffering" tract be sent to them because their people could identify with the message within it.
In 1976 Evangelist Davis journeyed through West Africa, traveling through the countries of Liberia, The Ivory Coast, Ghana, New Guinea and finally reaching her destination of Nigeria, all the while preaching the Word of God.
She would later travel to the southern part of the Philippines to minister and preach the Word of God there as well, and began an outreach ministry in South India, to support a very large following of souls in that region.
In 1984, the ministry was incorporated, and the name was changed from "The Montclair Prayer Band" to "Praise, Power and Prayer Temple" Inc. Evangelist Davis was head Pastor of Praise, Power and Prayer Temple. After years of radio ministry, Evangelist Davis, being led by the Spirit of God, incorporated “God’s Holy Mountain Broadcast” as its own ministry.
Evangelist and Pastor Martha P. Davis went on to live with Lord in Feb 20, 2022, but her work lives on. Listen, as the unadulterated Word of God comes forth, God will bless you through His Word. Repent and come to Jesus today, He will receive you with open arms.
